Our Staff...

Office Manager

Hi, my name is Donna Williams and I have been with the Carroll County Veterinary Clinic since 1999. I started as a receptionist and moved up to become the Office Manager; the position I currently hold. I work mostly behind the scene making sure the clinic is well stocked and well staffed. In my spare time I care for my two active boys, Joshua and his younger brother Jason. I have a wonderful husband who knows when I call and say "I want you to come and see something" that we have another new pet! We currently have four dogs, a lab named Bo who weighs 166 lbs, a Great Dane named K.C. Seven, a white Shepard named Dax and a Basset mix named Cletis. We also have one cat named Tribble — any Star Trek fans will notice a theme in our pet's names. I am also a big football fan. In our house there is always a debate as I am a diehard STEELERS fan and my family members are all Ravens fans. But it is all in the name of fun. Maybe the next time you come in we can talk football. I am always available to discuss your pets and any concerns you may have.

Communications Officer

Hi, my name is Andie and I have been working at CCVC since April of 2000. I love coming to work every day. No two days are the same. I work mainly in an office in the back of the hospital. I get to talk to everyone the day after their visit to make sure that their pet(s) did well with their visits, answer any questions they may have and make sure recheck appointments are made as needed. I love all breeds of dogs and cats but am especially fond of boxers! All the boxers in the practice especially know me and give me kisses. We are a family practice and we all do get along very well — most of the time, just like a family. We know everyone's family members and pets like our own and we would like you to be part of our extended family also. I have been married to a wonderful man since November 2003 named Walter. I have two beautiful, grown daughters, Dawn and Carrie who have blessed us with 5 grandchildren; Kendell, Kennedy, Kameron, Haylee and Garrison with a new baby on the way in March 2008. We have a black and white pit bull named Majestic X (1-16-01) and a reversed brindle boxer puppy named Yonder (6-10-07) and a pond full of fish. I love to read and take care of my dogs and fish. I am thinking of doing something special with the new puppy — but I'm not sure what yet! I'm sure I will be talking to most of you soon!

Childcare Provider

Hi, my name is Megan Nowlin and I have been here since November 2005. I am a big part of what helps make the great family atmosphere here because I am the in-hospital nanny for the practice. I mainly take care of Dr. Wimmer's two wonderful children when they come to work with her – which is most days. I really enjoy playtime with the children, but I really, really love nap time! I love all of my pets very much but because of where I live I am only allowed to have my awesome pet rabbit Sir Hops-a-lot with me. So I had to leave my dog Bruce, a rotti-shepard mix and my two cats Prissy and Shadow in the loving care of my father. I truly love working in a place that has such great values where I can incorporate my love of animals and my love of children into one great workplace. When I am not wrangling children at work I love spending time with family and friends and embracing my love of music and art.

Technician

I am Crystal Cerreta and I am a technician here at CCVC. I have been here since March of 2007 and love every minute of my job. I actually used to work here before Dr. Wimmer bought the practice and then ended up coming back because I love it so much. Before coming to work here I took the veterinary assistant course at Carroll Community College. There are always new clients and pets to meet and it is so nice getting to know both our new and established patients. It is so rewarding working with new people and animals — it is like having a huge family. I look forward to meeting all of our clients and getting to know each of their pets. My family at home consists of my husband Jake whom I married in 2004. My daughter Alexis, who is my pride and joy, was born in 2006. Also a major part of our family is our many pets. We have 3 dogs — Bugsy Jackson, a 2000 model Labrador retriever, Molly a 2000 model Bichon Frise and Luna our 2005 model Siberian Husky. We also have 2 cats, Katie a domestic short hair born in 1992 and Freak a domestic long hair cat born in 2002. He got his name because he is a polydactyl cat (he has extra toes on all of his feet.) With all these pets my house definitely stays interesting and entertaining.

Technician

Hi! My name is Laura and I am one of the technicians here at CCVC. I have been employed here since November of 2004. The family atmosphere here makes coming to work feel like coming to my second home. We all work so well together as a team. I really enjoy working with all of our clients and their pets. Every day is something new or someone new to meet. I have been working with animals since 1987 and still love what I do. I am married to a wonderful man and we have three beautiful girls and are expecting our 4th child late March 2008. We also have three furry children, an old Golden Retriever named Jennie, Sam our young full of life Border Collie mix and Little Bit our long haired dilute torti cat that thinks she is a dog! When I am not here at work I spend most of my time driving my girls to all of their after school activities and I enjoy reading and working in the garden.

Receptionist / Technician

Hi my name is Ashley McFarland. I started working at Carroll County Veterinary Clinic in January 2007 as both a receptionist and a technician. I love working with animals and getting to know their individual personalities. I graduated from North Carroll High School in 2004 but I recently moved to Hanover, PA where I live with my family and three pets. I have a pit bull named George and two cats, Hope a tabby and Faith a calico. I enjoy spending time with my family and animals, taking my dog for a walk or just spending time with the cats. I also enjoy reading, shopping, hanging out with my friends and the occasional game of basketball.

Receptionist / Technician

Hi, I'm Jenn Talbert. I have worked at the Carroll County Veterinary Clinic since March of 2005. Most of the time I work as the receptionist answering the phone, greeting you as you come in and checking you out as you leave. I enjoy my time up front because I get to learn more about you and your pets before your appointment begins. I also work as a technician from time to time which is exciting because I get to be hands on helping to care for our patients. Outside of work I spend most of my time caring for my own animals. I have four dogs, a chinchilla, two bearded dragons, a small parrot and have most recently added a stray cat that everyone here at work helped nurse back to health. He is doing great now and is a welcomed addition to my animal family. I look forward to helping you care for your pets.
